Kiln Creek Animal Care offers high quality
medicine to your
family pets. Our goal is to make your visit as pleasurable as
a
doctor's visit can be. We have the capability to do
in-house
labwork for critical and routine cases, and also send out
samples to Virginia Beach General Hospital and Antech
laboratory
as needed. Our X-ray equipment allows us to
give you
radiological diagnostics to help expedite the
diagnosis of your pet's condition. The pharmacy is stocked
with an extensive array of
pharmaceuticals, dermatological
products and dental products.
We
also carry prescription diets for cases with special dietary
needs.
Finally, our exam rooms, treatment area, and hospital
areas
are designed to make your pet's visit as stress free as
possible.
The staff strives to make your pet feel as
comfortable
as
possible.
Our surgical
facilities allow us to perform routine spays
and
neuters as well
as many soft tissue and orthopedic
surgical
procedures. We
use isoflurane inhalant anesthesia
to maintain patients
during surgical procedures. Monitoring
devices allow us
to detect
changes in heart rate, heart
rhythm, the percentage
of oxygen in
the blood.
We also use a ventilator to provide
adequate
oxygenation
and adequate levels of inhalant anesthesia. A
licensed
veterinary technician is available to monitor
anesthesia
while the doctor performs the procedures,
assuring
that
your pet receives the best care possible. We are
very
proud
