Grooming

Hi my name is Sherry and I have been the
groomer for Kiln Creek Animal Care since 1992.
I started grooming in a family kennel in 1978, and
graduated number one in my class at the Nash
Academy of Animal Arts in 1984.
My love for pets has also led to the establishment
of my own breeding kennel for Bernese Mountain
Dogs. After having worked in many different
grooming situations, I have come to realize the
benefits of working within a veterinary clinic.
Working closely with your veterinarian allows me
to help ensure the well being of your pet.

A grooming appointment includes a bath (and
flea dip if necessary), haircut, ear cleaning (and
plucking if appropriate), anal sac expression, and
nail trim. We recommend that the first grooming
appointment be scheduled when your puppy is
approximately12 weeks of age so as to allow your
puppy to become accustomed to the grooming
experience.

Grooming is by appointment only and prices
are based on the AKC standard for the breed
(and may depend upon the condition of the coat).
We recommend initial consultations for new clients.

Kiln Creek Animal Care also offers bathing
services for dogs and cats Monday through Saturday.
