We are happy to provide boarding services for both dogs
and cats. Dogs may be housed in appropriate sized kennels
or runs; cats are housed in a separate ward.
Please feel free to visit our kennel area. We feed Pro Plan
dry food in all kennels (adult or growth). If your pet requires
a special diet, please bring an adequate
supply and written
instructions. Also, make sure to bring any necessary
medications with proper labels. There will be an additional
charge for daily treatments (giving medications, cleaning
ears, etc.) All pets sleep on synthetic lambs wool, but you
are welcome to supply additional bedding and toys. Dogs
are walked outside several times a day and all pets receive
lots of TLC!

Here are a few tips to make the experience pleasant for all
involved:

1.   Prearrange a time to drop off your pet with us. This
allows us to save space for them and make any arrangements.
Make sure to call as far in advance as possible for holiday
reservations!

2.   Be sure to leave a telephone number where you can be
reached in case of an emergency. In the unlikely event of an
emergency, we will do everything possible to reach you, but
if unable to do so , we will proceed with whatever medical/
surgical intervention is necessary for the well-being of your
pet.

3.   Let us know if you would like to schedule a bath for your
pet prior to pick up. All dogs that stay 7 nights or more will
receive a complimentary bath before going home. If you
would like your pet groomed during the stay, make sure to
schedule your grooming appointment well in advance. pets
receiving baths/grooming services should be picked up
after 3pm.

4.   We routinely treat all animals for external and internal
parasites as necessary. This is done to protect other pets
housed here and is done at your expense. This means that
all pets with fleas or flea dirt will have a flea bath and topical
Advantage applied on arrival, and all pets found to have
internal parasites will be dewormed.

5.   Let us know when you will be returning to pick up your
pet (date and am/pm). We prefer to release in the afternoon
(if possible after 3pm). OUR HOSPITAL IS NOT
CONTINUOUSLY STAFFED FOR SUNDAY, HOLIDAY, OR
AFTER HOURS RELEASING.

6.   Make sure your pet is up to date on all vaccinations and
parasite checks. Vaccines required for dogs include a
distemper combination (DHLPPC or DHPPC) rabies, and
kennel cough (Bordatella): for cats, distemper (FVRCP)
and rabies. As we are sure you understand, this is for
the protection of all the animals here. If your pet has
received vaccines elsewhere, please provide proof of
those vaccines and the date they were last given.
